I'm Mark Anderson and I would like to invite you to join with me in learning to dance. I have been teaching ballroom and club dancing in the south Puget Sound area for several years.
I have studied ballroom, Latin, swing and Argentine Tango with regional, national and international champions and have undergone NDCA instructor certification training with Matt Jenson and Peggy Hall at Soundview Ballroom in Port Orchard.
Since The Abbey Ballroom in Tacoma opened up I have taught regular group lessons there and prior to that at the Applegate Studio. I have been a dance instructor on the faculty at Pacific Lutheran University for several years, and teach dance under contract for Tacoma Community College.
My teaching philosophy puts an emphasis on the social side of dancing rather than strict ballroom or competition. I just want you to learn how to have fun dancing.
